Apparently I am having a love-affair with the word "yesteryear." I realize that I used it in both of my previous posts and in an email to A.K.Narayan this morning. The funny thing is every time I use it I think of this moment from 'Catch 22,' and so in my head, immediately after the word yesteryear, I think "Parlez en anglais, for Christ's sake!" - which almost never applies to the situation.
